Cool Running Optics: No Absorption, Max Transmission Anti-Reflection Microstructure Solution For HEL Optics
TelAztec, LLC is pleased to announce the expansion of its commercial line of anti-reflection microstructure (ARMs) treated high-energy laser optics, windows, and fiber facets that exhibit maximum transmission, wide bandwidth, and no surface absorption. For CW and high average power laser operation, Random type AR textured (RAR) windows run at 1/10th the heat load and at intensities >5 times the damage threshold of the highest performing thin-film AR coatings. “TelAztec’s novel AR texture solution eliminates surface absorption by design, thereby increasing laser damage threshold, and providing an inherently stable and long life anti-reflection solution for optical designers”, states Bruce MacLeod, TelAztec’s Director of Manufacturing.

TelAztec will be exhibiting its full line of products at Photonics West in February 2016 (North Hall- Booth #4313), and will be conducting a 30 minute ‘New Product Demonstration’ on Thursday February 18th from 1:30-2PM in Demo Area 1 in the South Exhibit Hall. At this demonstration, TelAztec will present the latest CW and pulsed laser damage testing results, surface absorption testing results, and optical performance data.
