sCMOS Camera for Research and OEM Applications: Zyla
Andor’s Zyla is an sCMOS camera that offers sustained performance of up to 100 fps and read noise down to 0.9e-. Dark Noise Suppression Technology keeps the noise level lowered over a wide range of exposure conditions. Two different models are available with 4.2 megapixel and 5.5 megapixel resolution.
Both cameras in this series are ideal for applications that push the boundaries of speed and sensitivity. Examples include physiology/ion imaging, TIRF microscopy, super resolution microscopy, high content screening, cell motility, developmental/embryo studies, lucky/speckle imaging, x-ray/neutron tomography, solar astronomy, Bose Einstein condensation, adaptive optics, and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy.
The Zyla 4.2 sCMOS camera offers:
- 4.2 megapixel resolution
- 72% QE
- 0.9 e- read noise
- 0.04 e-/p/sec darkcurrent
- 100 fps (Camera link)
- 53 fps (USB 3.0)
- 33,000:1 dynamic range
- Ultra low fan vibration
The Zyla 5.5 sCMOS camera offers:
- 5.5 megapixel
- Rolling & True Global Shutter
- 1.2 e- read noise
- 0.04 e-/p/sec darkcurrent
- 100 fps (Camera Link
- 40 fps (USB 3.0)
- 25,000:1 dynamic range
