Single Photon Counting Modules
Excelitas’ cutting-edge Single Photon Counting Modules (SPCMs) detect single photons over the wavelength range of 400 - 1060 nm. They deliver highest photon counting efficiency (PDE) and very low dark noise with unmatched linearity, dynamic range and uniformity, as well as significantly improved timing resolution. Our SPCMs are well-suited to applications including particle sizing, ultrasensitive fluorescence, LIDAR, adaptive optics, optical range finding, astronomical observation, photon correlation spectroscopy, and quantum cryptography.

The SPCM-AQRH product is available as a single-channel unit in different performance classifications and in a four-channel array format, the SPCM-AQ4C, a module containing four APDs with a single power supply and four individual outputs.
