Fast & Accurate Determination of SPF
The efficiency of a dual diode array spectrometer coupled with a Xenon flashlamp gives reliable and repeatable measurement results in seconds.

Instrument software automatically calculates the average values of:

• UVB ( 280 - 315 nm )
  
• UVA ( 315 - 400 nm )
  
• SPF

The UVA and UVB ratio is calculated and instantly converts to give the Boots Star Rating for the level of UVA protection offered by the sunscreen product under test.
