V.I. Manufacturing acquires OptiPro

OptiPro Systems, Incachining specialist V.I. Manufacturing (Webster, NY) has purchased <%=company%> (Ontario, NY) for $2.5 million. OptiPro has been folded into the company as a separate business unit under the leadership of Mike Bechtold. The Ontario, NY facility remains open, and no layoffs are anticipated. The company will retain the OptiPro name for the business unit and the optics product line.

V.I. Manufacturing plans to aggressively expand the Optipro Optical Machining Center product line.
